Our History in the PCA:
We were one of the first two churches west of the Mississippi River to join the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) in 1973. The PCA denomination was formed in response to what was perceived as a growing distance from Biblical beliefs on the part of mainline Presbyterian denominations.
Faith Presbyterian grew out of the local First Presbyterian Church and reorganized within the PCA during the early years of the new denomination. After meeting in several temporary locations we acquired our present property in 1983. Our new building was built and occupied in 1985.
